Poet and essayist. Author of Having Been an Accomplice, which won the 2011 Lexi Rudnitsky First Book Prize from Persea Books.  Work appears in Gawker,  the  Best American Poetry Series and in many journals such as Barrow Street, Ecotone,  and WSQ.  She coordinates the Summer Writers Colony, the Riggio Writing & Democracy Program and other programs at The New School in Manhattan and is the poetry editor for The Inquisitive Eater.

  1. Just read that amazing energy about maternal wildness (which resonated in particular for me as I recently wrote on maternal imagination and its dangers for my master’s thesis). Had to come here to check out your work and find out who you are and thank you thank you thank you for what you wrote. Beautiful…wonderful (oh & also want to say I’m a bit jealous you moved to a quiet place)
